There's nothing hip or cool about white guilt by LittleGreenGamer There's nothing hip or cool about white guilt by LittleGreenGamer
White people of today, get a fucking clue! You don't need to answer for past generations of whites enslaving blacks. Your generation needs to answer only for it's current brand of stupidity. This goes back to what I said in a previous stamp about ancestor shaming. Also, if you think a black person who speaks out against rioting is an Uncle Tom or an Uncle Ruckus, you seriously need to fuck off back to the rock you crawled out from under.

Apparently people think it's hip to hate yourself for being white. This white guilt bullshit is so popular. I'll bet most white people who live on that false sense of guilt are only fronting so they can fit in anyway.

Believe me, I'm just as disgusted by the years of slavery, the Rodney King beating and other such things, but I'm not gonna apologize for being white.

Those police officers who beat up Rodney King needed their asses kicked, but that doesn't justify the rioting. I'll bet the rioters didn't give two shits about him anyway, otherwise they would have actually listened when Rodney said "Can't we all just get along?". Whether or not the attack caught on camera was racial, I don't really know. But I definitely know that it was a matter of abusing their power and their badges. Rodney wasn't being malicious and he didn't deserve that.

As for Michael Brown, I'm sorry, but I can't feel compassion for anyone who attacks a store clerk with no provocation. He was 18, it's not like he couldn't have just scrounged up some money and BOUGHT those fucking cigarillos. I don't know if he had his hands up or not, but at least he was saved the misery of going to prison. Let him rest in Heaven where he won't be a danger to himself or anyone else. (I mean that. Just because I can't stand thieves like him, doesn't mean I want him to suffer eternally.) If you had your heads out of your asses and looked at the pics of him displaying gang signs, you would have noticed he was a Blood and he was deliberately laying his life on the line.

Keep in mind, I always get outraged when black teenagers (or anyone of any color) gets arrested just for smoking weed. That's about the only thing that brings any joy to this disgusting world God should have never made. (I'll be saving that rant for a whole other art piece)

And before any of you dare to call me racist, keep in mind, I hate people of just about every demographic - thieving crackheads, politicians, numerous police officers, rich people who won't get off their asses and help the poor, etc.

In closing, I would like to say, when we have another black presidential candidate in the future, vote for him because you like what he has planned and how he looks at things, not because of his color.

Believe me, I go out to run errands and I talk to people of all colors and they are all equal in sense. They're not race-baiters like these people the sensationalist media likes to tell you about. Talking to these nice black people I meet everyday makes me wonder why we still carry on with this race-baiting insanity.

You want equality, stop fighting with each other and get it together as you integrate.

I remember seeing an image on the internet where a group of white people were chained to one another, and the caption on the image was something like "Being white: doing it right" (I don't really remember; I saw it a long time ago, but it was something very similar). When I saw that image I just wanted to pour acid over my eyeballs. Seriously?! I believe that image had something to do with the fact that these people were guilty of what their ancestors had done to black people in the FUCKING PAST. That's so sad, honestly. :iconfacepalmplz:

And don't even get me started on people who say that you can't blame muslim people or black people for shit that they did in the past because it's racist, YET it's 100% alright to do that to white people because they "deserve it"! Yikes!

Know what I also hate? When white people on Tumblr or Twitter say "boohoo i h8 white ppl!!!! white ppl sux!!!!! kill all white ppl!!!!!". When I see that bullshit spreading over the internet like a virus I'm like "bitch, you're white, stop speaking, you suck".

IKR? Some of them don't seem to be getting over slavery, meanwhile Jews have already gotten past the Holocaust and I rarely ever see any rivalry between them and Germans. This generation doesn't owe anything. Until time travel exists, ancestor shaming will never be a valid point.

I'm a believer that the chains of the mind and soul are the ones we put on ourselves by our own free will. . .never thought people would do it on the physical level like that.

And there's nothing cool about black people forcing it onto them.

I agree. The good thing about it for me though is that I meet so many black people every day who aren't like that. They just want to live peacefully in the same neighborhoods as white people. But the ones who try to force white guilt need to understand that they're not gonna get any acknowledgement by being racist.

They're usually the same people that act like "reverse racism" exists, to which I say "It's still racism. The only thing 'reversed' about it is who's on the giving and receiving ends."

I have no clue to be honest. I guess every era has a different kind of worldwide feud between ethnic groups. It's always gotta be extreme for some reason.

I am not my ancestors. I am not my descendants. I am only me, so I should only be held accountable for my actions.
Whatever happened to common sense? FFS, skin colour is as irrelevant as sexuality or one's food tastes. If people didn't make such a big deal out of it, we'd actually have proper equality, and probably have far less racism in society.

I refuse to accept any responsibility for anyone's actions other than my own.

That's exactly right. I've meet Native-Americans before and pretty much all of them were very welcoming and very nice. They know the Trail of Tears was not my idea or anyone else's in my family or friends. (And if I'm not mistaken, I've actually got some Cherokee in my ancestry)

But I'll bet most of the descendants of German nazis from WWII and South Korean soldiers from then have an attitude that's like "We want nothing to do with that history! None!" These days, you could visit Germany or Vietnam and there more than likely wouldn't be any trouble. The chances of something like that happening in one of those countries are about the same as something happening here in America.

White guilt is a cop out for people who want to feel better about doing nothing about racism.

That's correct on every level. White people don't need to feel guilty; they just need to befriend black people and treat them equally. When I was 15 I volunteered for a local Meals on Wheels program and I met so many good black people who I made good friends with, so ancestral conflict was a non-issue.

That's a great thing to do, and I believe that white people should try and help black people out of poverty if they'd want to make waves...IMO that's one of the biggest differences between the white and black community, our wealth capital and social status. But some just don't want to see that.

I couldn't agree more.  This world has enough hatred with cops shooting innocent people, racial hate crimes towards anyone regardless of race, People arrested for smoking a harmless plant, and all the other shit that's going on in this sick sad world.

I'm not gonna apologize for being who I am though. Regardless of my race or gender I'm still gonna be the same person with the same outlook and personality.

One time I was downtown with my good friend who is Jamaican. Some drunk guy being a douchebag called him the N word and I nearly beat his ass. My friend actually had to pull me back cause I would of fucked him up and most likely ended up in jail.

Nobody deserves to be discriminated. Where all the same on the inside. White bones, pink lungs(Unless you're a smoker), red blood the last time I checked.

Exactly. :) Sometimes people will should racial slurs because they had a bad experience with one or two people of that race or they're just paranoid, which is crazy. I've talked to many black people and the majority of them are nice. I've only been ripped off by one or two black people, but I've also seen one of my relative's pain medication get stolen by a white friend of his. And out of all my 6 housemates in that group home, I'm pretty sure it was that chunky white guy that stole most of my stuff since I noticed he brought a crack rock into the house and when I went to confrong him about it, he was loaded out of his mind.

This is one of the reasons people in this horrid Bible Belt are so aggressive - because they're forced to hide the fact that weed works for them. If they say one word about it, they're instantly marked as monsters by this insane law. I don't believe that cops want to arrest or attack minorities, but I do believe that they need to find something better to do than mess with pot smokers. It sickens me that a bunch of fundamentalists would label people who smoke a plant that does way less damage than alcohol and pills as something on par with child molesters and murderers. I'm not bashing Christians since I am one; just fundamentalists.

And while I don't support rioters in Baltimore, i do think the way Freddie Gray was treated was unjust. Sure, he should have stopped and put his hands up, but the police driving that paddy wagon should have given him medical attention and drove in a more cautious manner. If they needed someone to harm, they should have looked for a child molester instead. Still, that doesn't excuse rioters dragging innocent white people (who had nothing to do with it) into the mix.

I also forgot to mention Darrien Hunt. I still don't know why the police chased him, and he should have just stopped and put his hands up, but I still think his death by police gunfire was a horrible event.

Exactly. At this point in time, I think police officers just like to harass people based on their attire and their subculture.

If any other white people are so consumed with ancestral guilt, they need to stop thinking about that shit and just move forward with the positive things they can do. I also support interracial marriage and reproduction. I think a kid born to a couple like that will realize that there's only one race: human.

Thank you! :)

I know this is a tad off the subject, but this is why i think people shouldn't be so quick to pass judgement on movies like "Scarface" and say that they're stereotyping Cubans. What happened was, in 1980, Fidel Castro selected approximately 125,000 people of Cuba to send to Miami. A large number of them had criminal records, whom he deliberately selected for that boat lift.

That would be the equivalent of Obama selecting a bunch of shitty Americans (as opposed to the good ones) and sending them to another country - hypothetically speaking. Therefore, crime is not a white, Latino or Afro-American problem, it's just one of this world's worst problems.

And the whole cocaine thing didn't have anything to do with race; it had to do with a more geographical aspect. A lot of these countries in Central America, the Gulf, and South America were just rich in cocaine plants.
